Our course can take you from the very first steps in learning Greek to being able to have simple conversations with local people that you meet on holiday.
What kinds of things will you learn? Food and drink are always important. So, you’ll certainly learn basic greek phrases like how to order in a taverna or a bar. Greek people are always interested in people so they will probably ask you about yourself. They’re not being nosy – they are interested in you. And the more Greek you can speak and understand, the more you can venture into the more remote villages off the beaten track. Don’t be surprised if Greeks respond in fast, colloquial Greek. It’s only because they’re so happy you can speak some Greek, beyond the Greek alphabet!
